She’s worked with Greenpeace for the Rainbow Warrior Ship Southeast Asia tour and curated Organic Life KL’s Conscious Market with vendors who were passionate about sustainability and the environment, a long-standing volunteer with PAWS Animal Welfare Society, organising corporate volunteer programs. Melissa is also a TV host and producer of Tech360.tv, a regional online tech channel featuring the latest gadgets and IT trends. She follows advances in the environmental technology space closely, and writes about sustainable living and zero waste habits on her website heymelissatan.com.
Melissa is a former financial analyst who rose to fame after her debut on Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 3 representing Malaysia. Since then, she’s challenged herself in various entertainment roles as a model, featured in FHM & Women’s Weekly, a live host for Volvo’s Launch, Estee Lauder and Epson, a TV host for Trans TV, Indonesia and as an actress in Anak Merdeka, and several cameo roles in The Bridge, Tuyul ke London, and Devoted.
Melissa is the host and producer of Tech360.tv, a new regional online tech channel featuring the latest gadgets and IT trends dedicated to today’s digital lifestyle. Hosting with her is Timothy Go, a Channel News Asia news anchor. She brings her vibrant easy-going presence through many forms; hosting events in Malaysia and Singapore, on camera, and through live streaming.
